Individualized Attention Every Time!

With more than 20 years of success in tutoring thousands of students in mathematics and science, Math Support Services knows how to deliver the programs that offer the support students need to create the success they deserve. MSS provides proven and effective programs that are highly organized, and are run by professionals specializing in one-on-one tutoring. Instructors focus on energizing and motivating students to reach higher than they have ever gone before!

Our unique learning environment supports different learning styles in a way that provides a safe place to ask questions without judgments. Each tutoring session is completely private, consisting of one teacher and one student. Each teacher receives specialized training to learn the best techniques for teaching students of fifth through twelfth grade and beyond, all learning levels, and comprehension styles, including students with learning differences.

Our tutoring is more than homework help, students have access to professionally trained instructors who help students assess prior knowledge, strengthen basic skills, receive enrichment opportunities, and enhance study skills. Students are given practice exams and learn test taking strategies while accessing materials that coincide with the district curriculum.

What Is The Goal During The Tutoring Hour?

Our goal is to work with you and your child, along with the school, to frame a program that supports his/her academic needs, adds a personal touch to create self-confidence, and gives him/her success in the courses he/she is taking at school. Instructors provide learning experiences that suit the student’s learning style. Students use each session to:

  • Review prior skills
  • Clarify concepts
  • Preview up-coming material
  • Strengthen skills
  • Learn study techniques
  • Acquire test taking strategies
  • Take practice tests

Why Is MSS The Best?

We empower students with the additional tools needed to improve their performance at school in the areas of mathematics and science, using rigorous curriculum that coordinates with Federal, State, and Local standards. All of our materials match the District’s curriculum, insuring that what we teach is aligned. All of our highly qualified instructors are trained in proven instructional methods and are selected for their ability to communicate math and science in understandable terms. All of our experienced teachers hold degrees in math or science related fields.
